Our first time at Playa Cabana, after hearing so much about it. Even at 2pm, there was still a wait, we were told it would be about 20 minutes.
Husband ordered the red sangria.

We started with the HOMEMADE CHIPS AND FRESH SALSA. The chips were nice and warm and the menu said they have zero trans fats. These were delicious!!! Salsa was a bit liquidy, but who cares.

We also ordered the CROQUETAS DE CANGREJO (poblano corn crab cakes). Very full of fresh Dungeness crab, no filler. Tasty!

I ordered the TACOS DE PESCADO (BAJA-STYLE) (w/ grilled tilapia) w/ rice and black beans.

Husband ordered the ANCHO BRAISED SHORTRIB-BRISKET CRISPY TACOS w/ rice and black beans.

All in all very good Mexican food which is hard to find in this city. Husband even said he liked it enough to go again.
