Snug Harbour

Our first time at Snug Harbour. It is in a beautiful setting, overlooking the water. We sat outside on the patio on a day with gorgeous sunny weather. The only downside to eating outside is there were some tiny gnats flying and crawling around our table. We went in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner.

Menu (a lot of seafood choices):

I asked them to swirl a strawberry daiquiri with a pina colada (a drink I had in Hawaii called a lava flow). The waitress seemed very confused by my request and this is what they gave me:

I ordered a beet salad w/ arugula, creamy goat cheese, sweet honey vinaigrette, which the waitress said was a good choice. It had a ton of beets in it. Great value.

Husband ordered the crab cakes – onion, celery, peppers, seasoning, orange pineapple coconut curry sauce

Our friend ordered the calamari, a huge platter meant to be shared.

Our friend orderd the Caesar salad – romaine lettuce, bacon, parmesan, croutons and creamy garlic dressing

I ordered the sea scallops – bronzed and lightly crusted East coast scallops served with a Meyer lemon lobster butter sauce. I like the green beans and potatoes that came on the side and didn’t care for the tasted of the lemon lobster butter sauce.
