For my first meal in Montreal, I went to L’Avenue. I scoured the excellent site at http://www.montrealbreakfastreview.com/ and this was one of the best brunch places. I went on a weekday so there was little to no lineup.

I had the Smoked salmon benedict w/ potatoes, Hollandaise on the side. Overall it was very good!

It came with a great fresh fruit kabob.
