Finally got to try Smoked and Cracked!
Voted best lobster roll in Toronto. The lobster rolls come either hot or cold.
I opted for the hot lobster roll which was drenched in butter and seasoned with tarragon. The lobster had gorgeous, substantial chunks. And man oh man it tasted like wow wow wow. I could go for a lot less butter though. There was a pool of melted butter in the plate that crept into the slaw.
I asked how they made it so fast and was it pre-cooked. The lady at the counter said no it wasn’t pre-cooked.
The slaw was amazing as well. It had broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkin seeds and raisins and was very tangy.
Definitely want to go back to try the cold lobster roll!
